Job summary

SkyBridge Aviation LLC in Greenville, SC is seeking a Production Flightline Avionics, F-16 Technician Level 3 for a full-time, onsite role supporting a delivery team and flightline operations. You will install electrical harnesses, route wires, perform testing and troubleshooting, and support engineering changes with redlines or modification work.

Job description

Job Title: Production Flightline Avionics, F-16 Technician Level 3

Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Position Overview

You will be the Production Flightline Avionics, F-16 Technician Level 3 supporting a Production Flightline and Delivery Team in Greenville, South Carolina. The team is responsible for Flightline Operations, including installation of electrical harnesses and wires, continuity testing, system testing, soldering and termination operations, and launch and recovery. This role also supports engineering changes, including redlines, and requires modification experience or wire repair experience to ensure success in the position.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Production Flightline Avionics, F-16 Technician Level 3, you will be responsible for flight operations, testing and installing electrical harnesses and components, routing various wires and cables, terminating cables and wires, and performing operational checks to ensure flight readiness. You may also be required to troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems based on team assignment. Additional responsibilities may include general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections.

Requirements

Aircraft flightline experience is preferred with avionics and electrical experience.

Active Secret Clearance is preferred, ATO required, and the clearance process will begin upon offer acceptance.

• 6+ years of solid electrical or avionics experience
• Will consider candidates with 4+ years of recent aircraft experience, but must have relevant fighter aircraft experience
• Aircraft flightline experience is highly preferred
• Avionics and electrical experience required
• Modification experience, wire repair, or redline experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret wire harness prints
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic experience
• Must be able to work any shift based on program needs

Shift Options

Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift. Final shift is assigned after training based on team needs

1st Shift Mon thru Thurs 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM

2nd Shift Mon thru Thurs 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM

Additional Information

Security Clearance: Secret preferred but not required to start

Candidates must be eligible to obtain a clearance and will begin the process upon offer

Skills Required

• Avionics Testing preferred with 4 to 6 years of experience
• Electrical Troubleshooting required with 6+ years of experience
• Electrical Diagnosis and Repair preferred with 4 to 6 years of experience
• Wire Harness Print Reading preferred with 4 to 6 years of experience
