Job summary

Lancesoft seeks a Flightline Avionics, F-16 Technician Level 3 for the Production Flightline Team. You will install electrical harnesses, perform continuity and system testing, and solder/terminate wiring on F-16 aircraft.

You may also troubleshoot and repair avionics systems, and perform other duties such as general mechanic installs, testing and inspections. Flightline experience is a must.

Qualifications

• Experience installing electrical harnesses and wiring on aircraft.
• Ability to perform continuity and system testing.
• Skilled in soldering and termination operations.
• Familiar with safety rules and PPE usage.
• Aware of FOD prevention practices.

Job description

• You will be the Flightline Avionics, F-16 Technician Level 3 for the Production Flightline Team.
• Our team is responsible for Flightline functions to include installs of electrical harnesses/wires, continuity testing, System testing, and soldering/termination operations.

What You Will Be Doing

• As the Flightline Avionics, F-16 Technician Level 3 you will be responsible for Testing/installing electrical harnesses/components, routing various wire/cables, terminating cables/wires, and performing operational checks.
• You may also be required to troubleshoot and repairing electrical and avionics systems based on area assigned.
• Will sometimes perform other duties such as general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections.

The candidate will be required to:

• Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft.
• Frequently lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive movements and work overhead.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.
• Properly use, handle and dispose of hazardous materials, and toxic or caustic chemicals per Government regulations and company procedures
• Mission essential functions and other duties may be assigned as required.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed to perform job tasks.
• The employee is regularly exposed to vibration.
