Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a highly skilled Physical Security Technologist to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise security systems, focusing on Avigilon solutions. The role covers video surveillance, access control, and security monitoring in a large-scale environment.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and hands-on Avigilon expertise, with strong networking and security system integration knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, security systems, or engineering.
• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise physical security systems.
• Hands-on experience with Avigilon Control Center (ACC), Avigilon cameras and NVR appliances, ACM/Alta Access.

Responsibilities

• Administering and troubleshooting Avigilon video surveillance systems (ACC).
• Configure and support Avigilon access control systems and hardware.
• Monitor security operations; respond to incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with IT on network, cybersecurity, and system integration requirements.
• Lead or participate in security technology deployments and documentation.
