Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech in Ogden, UT is seeking a skilled Welder to join our aviation-ground-support manufacturing team. This hands-on role focuses on precision welding of subassemblies and components used in airport systems, with safety and quality as top priorities.

You will read blueprints, perform GMAW-P welds, complete work orders in MRP, and participate in self-inspections. The position requires a current weld certification and the ability to pass tests, with a physical role including lifting up

Qualifications

• Current weld certification required and ability to pass weld test.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Read tape measure to 1/16".

Responsibilities

• Weld components and subassemblies using GMAW-P.
• Interpret weld and assembly blueprints with accuracy.
• Prepare and close work orders in MRP documentation.
• Perform tack welding and full welding across various assemblies.
• Self-inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
