Job summary

AAR is seeking an Inventory Coordinator in Oklahoma City to coordinate warehouse inventories, schedule activities, and ensure adherence to company policies. You will manage inventory files, track inventories, and support training initiatives within a warehouse setting.

Ideal candidates will have a GED or high school diploma, at least one year in warehousing or inventory management, and familiarity with Excel and barcode systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Must have a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
• Previous experience in warehousing, inventory management, and barcode equipment.
• Previous experience in aviation or aviation related industry is a plus.
• Computer keypunch experience.
• Experience with Excel/Spreadsheet programs is preferred.
• Knowledge of on-line Warehouse Management Systems. Experience with Boeing Warehouse Management and Shipping Systems is preferred.
• Forklift operations.
• Material counting machine operations.
• Certified and trained in hazardous materials handling according to all current IATA regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all open and closed inventory files and schedules.
• Track and expedite warehouse inventories.
• Initiate, schedule, and conduct all customer-required inventories.
• Assist in clearing inventory anomalies and submitting required reports promptly.
• Must be highly organized and detail orientated.
• Planning, coordinating, and supervising periodic physical inventories.
• Delegate tasks and assignments for personnel.
• Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Collaborate with management to implement training.
• All other duties as assigned.
