Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and appropriate currency for measuring devices.
• Combination of three years in upholstery or bench upholstery or mechanical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision aircraft seats and upholster components.
• Install control mechanisms, arm rests, seat belts and related fittings.
• Operate power tools and perform trimming, cutting and patterning on upholstery.
• Fabricate scripts and decals, maintain silk screen equipment and paint consistency.
• Read basic drawings and work from detailed instructions; ensure quality of own work.
