Job summary

AIG is seeking an Analyst in the Underwriting - Aviation department to contribute to risk assessment and tailored insurance solutions. The role emphasizes learning and growth within a global insurance leader, with in-office exposure and collegial collaboration.

You will work alongside experienced professionals to evaluate aviation risks and support underwriting decisions while developing technical knowledge and client relationships. This is a hands-on, in-person opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation and underwriting of aviation risks across operators, airports, manufacturers, and airlines.
• Review underwriting submissions, exposure information, loss history, and other data to support risk selection and pricing decisions.
• Partner with experienced underwriters, claims professionals, attorneys, and risk specialists to develop tailored insurance solutions.
• Build relationships with brokers and clients while supporting new business and renewal opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends and aviation risks to support informed underwriting decisions.
• Develop aviation insurance technical knowledge while building analytical and relationship-management skills.
