Job summary

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) is seeking an Analyst for the Aviation Underwriting program.

You will join a fast-moving team, supporting evaluation and underwriting of aviation risks, collaborating with seasoned underwriters, claims professionals, attorneys, and risk specialists to deliver tailored insurance solutions. From day one, you will learn through on-the-job experiences, instructor-led masterclasses, and exposure to senior leaders as you develop critical aviation insurance

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation and underwriting of aviation risks across areas such as aircraft operators, airports, manufacturers, and airlines.
• Review underwriting submissions, exposure information, loss history, and other relevant data to support risk selection, pricing, and coverage decisions.
• Partner with experienced underwriters, claims professionals, attorneys, and risk specialists to develop tailored insurance solutions.
• Build relationships with brokers and clients while supporting new business and renewal opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging aviation risks to support informed underwriting decisions.
• Develop technical knowledge of aviation insurance while building analytical, decision-making, and relationship-management skills.
