Job summary

MPI is seeking a Traveling Superintendent for a growing construction organization delivering complex aviation projects across North America. You will lead field operations on airport developments, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality on site.

Reporting to senior operations, you will manage subcontractors and site teams, drive schedule performance, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders. A strong track record in aviation construction and ability to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction.
• Ground-up aviation construction experience required.
• Experience delivering airport projects end-to-end.
• PEMB and/or tilt-wall construction experience preferred.
• Ability to travel extensively across North America.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Description

Reporting to senior operations leadership, the Traveling Superintendent will take ownership of on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

• Lead all day-to-day field operations on aviation construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to maintain project schedules.
• Manage site safety, quality control, and compliance requirements.
• Drive schedule performance and proactively resolve field issues.
• Partner closely with project management teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Oversee project documentation, inspections, and turnover activities.
• Support future aviation projects across North America as business needs evolve.

Profile

• 5-7+ years of Superintendent experience within commercial construction.
• Mandatory ground-up aviation construction experience.
• Proven experience delivering airport projects from early stages through completion.
• Experience with Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) and/or tilt-wall construction strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractors and manage complex field operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety, scheduling, and quality best practices.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout North America.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Job Offer

• Base salary of $125,000 - $150,000, dependent on experience.
