Job description

I am currently partnering with a nationally recognized General Contractor looking to expand its Airport/Aviation division out of its Indianapolis market. This is a great opportunity to join an established, employee-owned organization and play a key role in growing a specialized team while managing aviation construction projects across the country.

The Role Itself:

  • Manage construction projects within the airport/aviation sectors
  • Indianapolis would be the home base between trips, with all business travel expenses covered
  • Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates based outside the Indianapolis area
  • Travel to project sites nationwide, primarily throughout the Midwest, with potential opportunities further East and Southeast (nothing West of the Rockies)
  • Periodic travel every 2–3 weeks, typically spending a few days on-site per trip before returning

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2–5 years of construction management experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, and/or Project Manager
  • Those with more extensive experience will be considered for higher-level compensation.
  • Must be open to periodic regional/national travel, though previous traveling isn't experience is not required.
  • **Prior exposure to airport/aviation construction projects absolutely necessary**
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Compensation

  • Base salary starting at $100,000-$120,000 for candidates meeting the minimum requirements
  • Flexible up to $140,000-$150,000 for more experienced Project Managers
  • All business-related travel expenses covered by the company

Bonus & Employee Ownership

  • Fully employee-owned company through an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program)
  • Significant performance-based opportunities, with potential bonuses reaching six figures
  • Annual ESOP share allocations tied to 1.5% of individual project profits, providing even more long-term financial upside

If you have airport/aviation construction experience and are interested in joining a growing team with strong earning potential and an employee-ownership model, we’d love to connect.
