Job summary

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise is seeking an experienced aviation specialist to lead project management of transition airplanes (return, repossessions, AOG, acquisition, sale and part out) and to provide technical support to the Sales and Trading teams for re-lease, extension, purchase or sale of aircraft.

The role involves directing on-site transition teams, ensuring compliance with lease return and delivery conditions, and coordinating with lessees, buyers, sellers, regulators, and maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in managing aircraft check, repair and reconfiguration programs.
• FAA A&P license (or Engineering Degree) required.
• Thorough knowledge of aircraft lease agreements and redelivery obligations.
• Familiarity with FAA and EASA maintenance, regulatory requirements and Certification/Registration issues.
• Experience interpreting, negotiating and drafting contract language (LOI & Lease Agreement).
• Experience with transition budget development and cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Manage transition aircraft (Lessee to Lessee, repossession, AOG to Lessee, sale, purchase, part out).
• Initiate, update and monitor redelivery obligations and commitments.
• Provide technical input for commercial analyses and memos.
• Support lease, sale and purchase negotiations with lessees, buyers and sellers.
• Direct transition teams and coordinate with regulators, vendors and maintenance organizations.
• Ensure compliance with negotiated delivery conditions and DAE approvals.
• Oversee surveillance of aircraft in the DAE fleet during transition.
