Job summary

FlightSafety International in the United States, Ohio, Cleveland area seeks a Flight Instructor to deliver ground and simulator instruction in accordance with aviation regulations and our training principles. You will conduct pilot ground and simulator training, develop materials, assess progress, and maintain training records across client courses, with a focus on safety and performance.

Candidates should meet ATP or ICAO requirements; role requires strong communication and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Must participate in FlightSafety's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program.
• Unrestricted ATP certificate or ICAO ATP license; if no ATP, meet 14 CFR 61.153 and 61.64 without SOE.
• Minimum: 1 unrestricted PIC type rating; FAR Part 135/121 or military training preferred; 2,500 hours total flight time preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pilot ground and simulator training for clients.
• Develop and prepare training materials for delivery.
• Evaluate trainee progress and recommend qualification or additional training.
• Complete accurate training records for each client.
• Identify client training issues and seek assistance prior to execution.
• Maintain Instructor qualifications per regulatory requirements.
