Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Tampa is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead a frontline team on the ramp and at passenger service points. You will ensure compliance with local airport, FAA and U.S.

Customs safety requirements while directing shifts and coordinating with management. The ideal candidate has an Associates degree or five years related experience, 1–3 years of team leadership, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or five years related experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years' experience leading team of 2-5 employees
• 1-3 years' experience developing procedures, coaching and ensuring compliance
• Sound understanding of Ramp & Passenger Services Operations.
• Must be able to comply with local airport, FAA and/or U.S. Customs safety, security, and identification requirements and pass a thorough security background check

Responsibilities

• Adheres to local, State, and Federal safety policies, and company rules and regulations
• Interacts with management to ensure site compliance and training
• Lead shifts and direct operations to ensure product movements, inspections, and quality checks are completed safely
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; manage performance and discipline as needed
• Maintain positive culture and operational excellence
