Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an Aviation Tool Shop Attendant in Mobile, AL to manage the tool crib, track inventory, and inspect tools for wear and tear. The role supports calibration and QA activities in a manufacturing setting.

You will handle tool issuance for production, maintain records, and coordinate maintenance with suppliers. A strong emphasis on safety and OSHA compliance is required, with familiarity in SAP and Excel for data collection.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or tool management in a manufacturing environment; inventory control experience is a plus.
• General knowledge of hand, power tools, and cutting tools relevant to aviation manufacturing.
• Familiarity with shop safety (FOD/clean-as-you-go) and OSHA regulations.
• Proficient with data collection programs (e.g., SAP) and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the tool crib inventory and inspect tools for wear.
• Receive, store, issue tools for production and coordinate maintenance.
• Support calibration activities under QA guidance.
• Assist audit preparation and participate in audit processes.
