Job summary

JSM Airport Services LLC seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) and Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) projects at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU). The role focuses on OAR services, design through commissioning, and collaboration with airport operators, airlines, TSA, and contractors in a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates bring 7–12 years of infrastructure/aviation project leadership, fluency in English and Spanish, and a track record

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Aviation Management, or related field.
• 7–12 years of experience managing infrastructure or aviation projects.
• Experience delivering airport capital projects, particularly BHS or PBB projects.
• Experience supporting projects as an Owner’s Authorized Representative (OAR) or similar oversight role.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Manage aviation infrastructure projects involving BHS, PBB, and other terminal systems.
• Oversee planning, scope, budgeting, and scheduling for airport capital projects.
• Coordinate design, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Provide updates, risk assessments, and progress reports to stakeholders.
• Support procurement activities including RFP development and contract administration.
• Serve as the Owner’s Authorized Representative coordinating with design consultants and contractors.
