Job summary

TYLin is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Aviation (Terminal Design) to lead planning, design, and delivery of complex airport terminal projects in the U.S. and abroad, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, passenger-focused terminals.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in airport terminal design, excels at leadership and stakeholder management, and can balance design excellence with schedule and budget within a global infrastructure firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience managing airport terminal design and redevelopment projects.
• Demonstrated experience delivering major terminal projects at commercial airports in the United States or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design delivery of major airport terminal projects, including new construction, renovations, expansions, and modernization programs.
• Manage multidisciplinary design teams including architects, engineers, planners, interior designers, aviation specialists, and specialty consultants.
• Serve as the primary project interface with airport owners, airlines, tenants, regulatory agencies, and other key stakeholders.
• Coordinate all phases of terminal design, including programming, concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing plans, and delivery strategies.
• Facilitate design coordination meetings and ensure alignment between architectural, engineering, operational, and stakeholder requirements.
