Job summary

BETA Technologies is seeking a talented technical illustrator with aerospace experience to produce illustrations for maintenance, flight manuals, and other documentation. The role demands collaboration with writers, SMEs, engineers, pilots, and operations staff to ensure accuracy and clarity.

You will work with CATIA V5/Composer and PTC IsoDraw, apply S1000D standards, and maintain attention to detail while meeting deadlines. A bachelor's degree in engineering or aerospace is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or aerospace field preferred.
• Experience in technical illustration, including S1000D standards.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5/Composer and PTC IsoDraw.
• Strong attention to detail with end-item configuration focus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; able to work independently.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and solve roadblocks.

Responsibilities

• Create technical illustrations for manuals, training material, and work instructions.
• Leverage CAD data to generate clear illustrations for structured authoring.
• Collaborate with writers and SMEs to define illustration needs.
• Coordinate illustrations within structured authoring software.
• Support document reviews and track illustration workflows to deadlines.
