Qualifications

- US citizen status required.
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience.
- Experience with safety analyses and design evaluation of systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to PMs to accomplish system safety objectives.
- Advise PMs on safety engineering across the acquisition life cycle.
- Assist with safety directives, policies, and training for aviation safety.
- Establish system safety design criteria for aviation systems.
- Perform independent safety analyses and design evaluations.
- Review airworthiness docs and manuals to ensure safe operations.
- Ensure safety requirements in hazardous item contracts; support fielding and sustainment.
