Job summary

SpaceX seeks an Aviation Development Engineer to lead Starlink service launches with airline partners. You will own the technical engagement, define milestones, and coordinate across engineering, maintenance, and passenger experience teams to meet customer objectives and regulatory requirements.

You will work with FAA and other regulators, manage multiple projects, and produce clear documentation for licenses, type approvals, and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
• 5 years of engineering experience or a technical program/product management role.

Responsibilities

• Manage Starlink service launch with airline partners.
• Establish program governance with timely reporting.
• Lead reviews and workshops with stakeholders.
• Translate customer requirements into technical and operational plans.
• Coordinate artifacts for licenses, type approvals, and audits.
• Ensure efficient resource use and on-time delivery.
• Work with FAA and aerospace regulators for compliance.
• Provide regular schedule updates to senior management.
• Own SpaceX Aviation Integration process across partners.
• Incorporate feedback into schedules and statements of work.
