Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic Systems Installer (Contract) to join the Mobile Manufacturing Team. This role covers systems installation of the aircraft for the final assembly line, with focus on VTP/HTP installation, hydraulic lines, belly fairing, and fuel systems, among others.

Qualified candidates will have 2 years of aviation production experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. The role is on-site at the Mobile facility and requires working within Airbus U.S.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience in Aviation Production or equivalent.
• High School Diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical components at the station/work place/aircraft parking space.
• Installation and manufacture: mark, prepare, assemble, adapt, torque and secure mechanical components and parts.
• Inspect bonding as per order/GTI, drawing and specifications.
• Check system functions.
• Area-specific installation: VTP and HTP installation, Hydraulic lines installation; Belly fairing and Flap installation; Air conditioning and Fuel system; MLG & Tank Test; Gauging Test.
