Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks an Aircraft Systems Installer for the Mobile, Alabama facility. You will install aircraft systems on the final assembly line, applying precision and LEAN practices while working with electrical, structural and quality teams.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in aviation production, and completion of Airbus training programs. This role involves working at heights and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Airbus trainings after recruitment: Health & Safety, Quality trainings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical components at the station/workplace/aircraft parking space.
• Installation and manufacture: mark, prepare, assemble, adapt, torque and secure components.
• Inspect bonding as per order/GTI, drawing and specifications.
• Check system functions.
• Area specializations: VTP and HTP installation, hydraulics, belly fairing and flap installation, air conditioning and fuel systems, MLG & Tank test gauging.
