Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, AL is seeking a Mechanic Systems Installer (Contract) to join our Mobile Manufacturing Team. This role focuses on the systems installation of aircraft for the final assembly line at the Mobile facility.

Two years minimum experience in aviation production or equivalent and a High School Diploma are required. The on-site position offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for career development within Airbus.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience in Aviation Production or equivalent required.
• High School Diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical components at the station/work place/aircraft parking space.
• Installation and manufacture: mark, prepare, assemble, adapt, torque and secure mechanical components and parts.
• Inspect bonding as per order/GTI, drawing and specifications.
• Check system functions.
• Area focus includes: VTP and HTP installation, Hydraulic lines installation; Belly fairing and flap installation; Air conditioning and Fuel system; MLG & Tank Test; Gauging Test.
