Job summary

Real Time Consulting, LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer specialized in Aircraft Surveillance Systems to verify hardware and software against ARP4754A and DO-178B processes. You will work on TCAS, TAWS, ADS-B and transponder subsystems within embedded avionics projects.

Responsibilities include creating and executing system test procedures, test scripts and validation plans, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science.
• 3+ years system development of safety critical embedded avionics systems.
• Experience developing system test procedures, system test cases and system test scripts.
• Familiar with the ARP-4754A aircraft systems lifecycle.
• Familiar with DOORS for requirements capture and tracing.
• Familiar with ClearCase version control and configuration management system.
• Familiar with ClearQuest for creating and tracking change requests.
• Familiar with MATLAB/Simulink for performing simulations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Accountable and takes ownership of assigned tasks.
• Self-motivated and takes initiative to get things done.

Responsibilities

• Perform system verification activities per ARP4754A and DO-178B processes.
• Develop and execute system test procedures, test cases and scripts.
