Job summary

Acron Aviation is seeking a Systems Avionics Engineer to design, integrate, verify, and certify advanced airborne surveillance systems. The role leads system integration and verification, partnering with software, hardware, and program teams to deliver compliant, high-assurance avionics solutions.

The candidate will manage multiple priorities, communicate with customers and stakeholders, and contribute to continuous process improvements while ensuring safety-critical performance across product

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline (required).
• 4–9 years of directly related professional experience in avionics (preferred).
• Experience writing system requirements, validation procedures, and test development/execution.
• Knowledge of ARP-4754A and DO-178 processes.
• Experience with avionics products (XPDR/TCAS/TAWS/ADS-B Out/In).
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, and Python is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architectures and designs to meet requirements and regulations.
• Author and maintain system specifications, requirements, and documentation.
• Support modeling, validation, and analysis activities.
• Develop, execute, and document system-level test procedures and automated scripts.
• Analyze test results and recommended corrective actions for compliance.
• Coordinate with software, hardware, and project teams across lifecycle.
• Support flight tests, data collection, and post-flight analysis.
• Present technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices in engineering.
