Job summary

DCS Corporation seeks a System Safety Engineer to support the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and AWIIL safety programs. You will ensure milestones are met and interact with prime contractors, IPTs, and safety boards in a demanding, security‑driven environment.

The role requires 8+ years in Aviation Safety, active security clearance, and on-site work. You will perform risk analyses, safety evaluations, and prepare safety documentation to support airworthiness and flight clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to security requirements.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in Aviation Safety and Mishap Investigation.
• Active security clearance required.
• Onsite work only; remote not available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and hazard mitigation for test and fleet aircraft.
• Perform safety evaluations of change requests and test reports.
• Lead or participate in System Safety Groups, Working Groups, and TIMs.
• Support airworthiness certification and flight clearance processes.
• Investigate fleet mishaps and incidents to identify root causes.
• Maintain safety data, fault-tree models, and safety documents.
