Job summary

V2X is seeking an aviation maintenance technician to inspect, repair, and maintain aviator survival equipment and related systems. You will work to ensure readiness, perform preventive maintenance, and document activities in standard records.

The role requires Navy PR training, two years of survival equipment experience, and the ability to obtain DoD CAC and explosives handling certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Completion of Navy PR school or equivalent Air Force or Army PR school.
• Must have two (2) years’ experience in aviators personal survival equipment maintenance.
• Must have a valid state DL and meet licensing/qualification requirements.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Program and relevant manuals.
• Must be able to pass a DoD CAC and explosives handling certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and inspect survival equipment per command manuals.
• Brief and debrief flight personnel on equipment condition.
• Transport, install, and test actuation devices and survival gear.
• Maintain records in MAF, ALS, and NALCOMIS.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and FOD requirements.
