Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Structural Mechanic III in Tulsa, OK to perform assembly, riveting and sheetmetal operations on aircraft structures in a team environment.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of related structural assembly experience; Solumina and Smarteam experience preferred; Q-stamp preferred. Must work OT as required and be able to pass a background check. This is a full-time, multi-shift role with travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assembly and riveting operations on detail parts and structures.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations.
• Rivet structural members, assemblies and parts using required tools; ensure a defect-free assembly.
• Instruct and assist other team members in interpretation of blueprints and procedures; develop methods to resolve issues.
• Maintain logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs) and keep work area neat and safe.
• Ensure work conforms to specifications and support 5S & Lean initiatives.
