Job summary

FlightSafety International is seeking a Spares Support in Delaware to establish and maintain inventory discipline for Flight Training Devices, ensuring parts are available for repairs without overstocking.

The role requires at least 3 years related experience, familiarity with SAP and warehouse management, and the ability to train associates across centers while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or Associate degree required.
• Minimum 3 years related experience with FlightSafety International or equivalent, with knowledge of electrical/electronic components, SAP, inventory management and warehouse management.
• Demonstrates accountability, communication, teamwork and safety awareness in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain automated records of physical inventory.
• Ensure spare parts are readily available for repairs without overstocking.
• Order bench stock, materials and equipment for Flight Training Devices support.
• Acquire and maintain spares cost and pricing data with automated data management tools.
• Coordinate repair activities with centers and repair facilities.
• Analyze repair quotes to balance cost and choose cost-effective repair methods.
• Coordinate returns to stock and shipments to other centers as needed.
• Interact with staff to anticipate spare parts needs for repairs or replacements.
• Provide training and guidance to Associate Spares Support at other centers.
• Report safety hazards promptly for corrective action.
