Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to support an FAA program in Frederick, MD. The role focuses on overseeing inventory control and logistics operations, ensuring critical materials and spare devices are tracked, readily available, and delivered on time to support program objectives.

The ideal candidate will conduct cycle counts, audits and root-cause analyses on discrepancies, leading process improvements to strengthen inventory management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree + 4 years Inventory Control experience OR Associate Degree + 10 years experience
• SAP experience required
• MS Office Suite experience required

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control and logistics operations to ensure materials and spare devices are tracked and delivered on time
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits and system controls
• Lead FAA program spares pool activities including deployment, restocking, configuration tracking and urgent shipping requests
• Analyze usage trends, demand forecasts and lead times to develop stocking and replenishment plans

This individual will be responsible for overseeing inventory control and logistics operations, ensuring critical materials and spare devices are accurately tracked, readily available, and delivered on time to support program objectives and system response efforts. The Inventory Control Manager will maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system controls while conducting root cause analyses on discrepancies and implementing process improvements to strengthen inventory management practices. This role will oversee the FAA program spares pool, including device deployment, restocking activities, configuration tracking, and urgent shipping requests to support critical operational needs. The ideal candidate will analyze inventory usage trends, demand forecasts, and lead times to develop strategic stocking and replenishment plans that balance availability and cost efficiency. Additionally, this individual will lead FAA-related inventory and logistics projects while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure program deliverables are successfully supported and executed.
