Job summary

RH Aero Systems is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join our supply chain team in Mason, OH. You will manage RFQs, place and track purchase orders, and coordinate with Engineering and OEM stakeholders to secure alternate suppliers when needed.

You will monitor supplier performance, maintain accurate order data, and collaborate with Fulfillment, Quality, and Logistics to resolve issues. Strong ERP and Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business or related field.
• 3–5 years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Strong RFQ, PO management, and supplier follow-up knowledge.
• Track record of on-time delivery and quality.
• Ability to own outcomes and focus on customer experience.
• Ability to analyze delivery risks and take corrective actions.
• Understanding of BOMs, manufacturing processes, and drawings.
• ERP proficiency and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on RFQs and initiate regional RFQs.
• Place purchase orders and manage confirmations.
• Manage source-controlled purchases per drawings and specs.
• Track lead times and delivery to support fulfillment.
• Coordinate with Engineering/OEM for alternate suppliers.
• Monitor orders from placement to delivery.
• Escalate issues to Fulfillment or Supplier Management as needed.
• Maintain accurate supplier and order status for updates.
• Collaborate with Fulfillment, Quality, Logistics to resolve issues.
• Negotiate pricing for products and catalogue lists.
• Handle supplier claims and cost-of-non-quality recovery.
• Coordinate supplier-related activities like non-conformances and change requests.
• Take on additional sourcing duties as needed.
