Job description

Aviation Site Civil Project Manager – Frisco, Texas

Garver has been designing projects for more than 250 aviation clients for six decades. Our Texas Aviation Team is dedicated to providing the expertise and leadership needed to assist clients in meeting both current and future airport development needs.

Responsibilities

• Site feasibility and conceptual planning
• Drive coordination and design for aviation clients
• Perform periodic onsite construction observation duties
• Construction Administration
• Submit reviews for projects under construction
• Detail-oriented and a team player with solid self-initiative to meet deadlines
• Development of Plans, Specifications, Reports, Estimates, and other technical deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• PE license
• 5+ years of related experience with site civil design, permitting, applicable software applications
• Deep working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Design experience that includes drainage, grading, and utilities
• Experience with due diligence, permitting, and jurisdictional coordination
• Experience with task management, concept, design, and project management tasks
• Strong written and oral communication skills with both internal employees and external clients
• Some travel may be required (approximately 10% with occasional overnight stays)
