Job summary

Mesa Airlines seeks a Simulator Instructor to lead approved New Hire, Upgrade, and Recurrent training programs. You will apply deep knowledge of aircraft systems, procedures, and training materials to ensure student success and regulatory compliance.

The role requires an Airline Transport License, eligibility for an E-170 PIC Type Rating, and at least 1 year of PIC/SIC experience in a transport-category airplane. Strong communication and professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• Airline Transport License required.
• 1 year PIC/SIC experience in transport category airplane.
• Able to pass a 10-year background check.
• Meets Flight Instructor qualifications of 14 CFR 121.412.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise New Hire, Upgrade, and Recurrent training programs.
• Maintain training records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform duties as assigned by Manager of Standards and Training or Director of Training.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of GOM, CFM, FOTM, and company training materials.
