Job summary

ATEC, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to support FAA TGF at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. The role focuses on real-time simulation, GUI development, and intelligent training systems for national airspace research.

Candidates should have 3+ years in engineering or related fields, with proficiency in Java/C++/JavaScript/TypeScript/Python and an interest in AI/ML. On-site position with relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• Engineering, math, and science degrees are required with 3+ years of experience.
• A master's degree in an appropriate discipline will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Eight (8) years of relevant experience over and above the minimum experience requirements will be considered equivalent to a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop simulation software supporting air traffic and aircraft operations.
• Build graphical user interfaces for scenario editors, instructor dashboards, and simulation controls.
• Support distributed, networked simulation environments.
• Help design an intelligent aviation training system with performance analytics.
• Explore artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in simulation and training.
