ATEC, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to support FAA TGF at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. The role focuses on real-time simulation, GUI development, and intelligent training systems for national airspace research.

Candidates should have 3+ years in engineering or related fields, with proficiency in Java/C++/JavaScript/TypeScript/Python and an interest in AI/ML. On-site position with relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• Engineering, math, and science degrees are required with 3+ years of experience.
• A master's degree in an appropriate discipline will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Eight (8) years of relevant experience over and above the minimum experience requirements will be considered equivalent to a bachelor's degree.

Software Engineer

READ: This position is 100% on-site at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Candidates must be able to report to this location as required. Applicants who do not currently reside within commuting distance must be willing to relocate prior to their start date. Relocation assistance is not provided.

ATEC is looking for Software Engineers to support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA's) Target Generation Facility (TGF). The TGFdevelops next-generation air traffic simulation tools, aircraft integrations, and graphical training platforms. This role blends real-time systems, graphical user interface development, aircraft dynamics, networking, and emerging artificial intelligence applications.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Experience developing graphical user interfaces
• Interest in aviation, simulation, or real-time systems
• Basic networking knowledge
• Curiosity about artificial intelligence and machine learning

ADDITIONAL SKILLS A PLUS:

• Experience flight simulation
• Knowledge of aircraft dynamics or air traffic operations
• Experience with web dashboards or data visualization
• Exposure to machine learning frameworks

EDUCATION/YEARS of EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
