Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience focusing on simulation engines.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, or Python on Windows and Linux.
• Hands-on experience with HLA/DIS interoperability standards.
• Familiarity with Git/GitLab, CI/CD, and Agile software development workflows.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and refactor high-performance simulation software for air traffic control architectures.
• Develop and program flexible scenario generation engines for varied operational environments.
• Design and implement UI dashboards for ATC simulation labs and flight-deck interfaces.
• Integrate models into distributed simulation networks using HLA/DIS protocols.
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing to meet safety and compliance standards.
