Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation is seeking a skilled aircraft sheet metal worker in Jacksonville, FL. The role covers disassembly, modification, repair and reassembly of complex aircraft metal items and systems, including skins, ribs, wings and fuel tanks.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with five years of heavy-structures or military aviation experience preferred. An A&P license is a plus, and U.S. citizenship is required. Up to 25% travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must be familiar with U.S. Military aviation maintenance criteria and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, modify, repair and reassemble complex aircraft metal items and systems.
• Fabricate, install and repair items from metals including high strength steel, titanium, aluminum and alloys.
• Use precision measuring instruments and perform required diagnostics and alignment.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

A&P license (not required but a plus)
