Qualifications

  • Professional experience in aviation sheetmetal assembly, aircraft manufacturing, aircraft structures, or a related aviation field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate industry best practices in a hands-on learning environment.
  • Commitment to student success and workplace safety.
  • Spanish-speaking ability is highly valued; the ability to communicate with students in both English and Spanish helps expand access to technical education.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on laboratory instruction in aviation sheetmetal assembly.
  • Teach blueprint interpretation, measuring, layout, drilling, riveting, fastening, assembly, and industry safety practices.
  • Demonstrate industry techniques while reinforcing quality, precision, and attention to detail.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide meaningful coaching and feedback.
  • Prepare students for careers in today’s aviation manufacturing industry and foster professionalism and teamwork.
