WSU Tech in Wichita, Kansas invites applications for the Adjunct Aviation Sheetmetal Instructor role. This part-time position blends real-world aviation experience with hands-on classroom and lab instruction to prepare students for aircraft manufacturing careers.

You will teach sheetmetal assembly, blueprint interpretation, measuring, drilling, riveting, and safety practices, while supervising labs and providing coaching to help students succeed in a safety-conscious, inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Professional experience in aviation sheetmetal assembly, aircraft manufacturing, aircraft structures, or a related aviation field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to demonstrate industry best practices in a hands-on learning environment.
• Commitment to student success and workplace safety.
• Spanish-speaking ability is highly valued; the ability to communicate with students in both English and Spanish helps expand access to technical education.

What You Bring

Required
