Job summary

West Star Aviation in East Alton, IL is seeking a Falcon Avionics Sheet Metal Technician (1736) for a full-time on-site role. The job involves sheet metal operations on airframe components, sealant application, and maintenance of shop facilities.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent; Airframe & Powerplant license preferred, with a valid driver's license ideal but not required. Experience with sheet metal and ability to read drawings is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and associated components.
• Application and removal of sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintenance, cleaning and repair of shop facilities, equipment and tooling when required.
• Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
• Effectively and clearly communicate in English.
• Any other job-related duties assigned by supervisor or management.
