West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Gulfstream Sheet Metal Technician in East Alton, IL. The role is full-time and on-site with opportunities to grow within a leading MRO provider.

You will perform basic to advanced sheet metal tasks, read blueprints, and support the organization with timely, quality workmanship while adhering to FAA guidelines. West Star emphasizes employee growth and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.
• Valid driver's license or passport ideal but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations on airframe components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintain, clean and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling as needed.
• Use basic computer skills to access electronic training, manuals and maintenance databases.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Assist in supervising crews and setting priorities when required.
