Job summary

Global Elite Group is hiring an Aviation Security Operations Manager to oversee daily airport security operations at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Jamaica, NY.

You will lead security personnel, coordinate workforce scheduling, and ensure compliance with HR policies under the General Manager's direction. You will drive staff performance, oversee training, and maintain secure operations while delivering exceptional service to clients, with emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance,

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams in security or operations.
• Age 21+ and eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid State Security License.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Proof of legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to obtain airport badge and TSA background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate security staffing, workforce scheduling, staff deployment, and post coverage to support smooth daily airport security operations.
• Lead daily staff briefings and oversee security operations under the General Manager.
• Support supervision and performance management with attendance and performance tracking.
• Assist with payroll-related documentation and timekeeping within deadlines.
• Support cost control and implement cost-effective practices across the station.
• Maintain compliance with reporting procedures and communicate changes to personnel.
• Administer initial and recurrent training for station personnel and provide corrective action.
• Safeguard company equipment and vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster strong client relationships.

Global Elite Group is hiring an Aviation Security Operations Manager to oversee daily airport security operations at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in Jamaica, Queens, NY. Working under the direction of the General Manager, you will lead security personnel, coordinate workforce scheduling and post coverage, support employee training and performance, and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate security staffing, workforce scheduling, staff deployment, and post coverage to support smooth daily airport security operations.
• Take proactive steps to maintain a safe and secure working environment for employees and other service provider personnel.
• Conduct regular walk-throughs and security inspections of assigned posts, and lead daily staff briefings under the direction of the General manager.
• Support employee supervision and performance management by documenting station attendance and performance deficiencies and administering corrective measures under the direction of the General Manager and in accordance with Human Resources policies.
• Review operational paperwork and employee time and attendance within established deadlines to support accurate payroll processing.
• Support cost control and implement cost-effective operating practices across the station.
• Under the direction of the General Manager, maintain operational compliance with reporting procedures and communicate procedural changes clearly and promptly to security personnel.
• Under the direction of the General Manager, administer initial and recurrent training for station personnel and provide corrective action where needed.
• Safeguard company equipment and vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Must have previous management experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid State Security License
• Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Upon hire, must provide proof of legal right to work in the United States
• Must be able to pass all initial and recurrent training classes and exams
• Ability to obtain an airport badge with customs seal: DHS requires a 10-year verifiable background check, including criminal, employment history. Also, must be able to pass a security threat assessment as administered by the TSA
