Job summary

Eastern Airlines seeks a Manager of Security to lead security programs, oversee training, and ensure regulatory compliance across domestic and international operations. This full-time, exempt role reports to the Director of Security and collaborates with Operations to maintain security objectives.

You will manage the GSC program, coordinate with regulators, and support TSA audits. The role requires credentialing, travel, and 24/7 readiness to address security incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in aviation, criminal justice, homeland security, or related field.
• 3+ years in Flight/Airport Operations with large turbine aircraft; international ops preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport credentials and security clearances.
• Experience conducting regulatory audits and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) program and training.
• Coordinate with HR to maintain Known Crewmember (KCM) database accuracy.
• Develop and manage security training programs for employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Communicate security policies during new hire orientation and set expectations.
• Serve as alternate Airport Operations Security Coordinator (AOSC) when needed.
• Respond to FAA, TSA, and airport authority inquiries.
