Job summary

Alliance Ground International (AGI) is seeking a Safety Training role to reinforce a proactive safety culture across stations. You will lead training delivery, perform audits, and investigate incidents to determine root causes and corrective actions, while developing policies and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have significant safety program experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to analyze accident trends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of OSHA, Transport Canada, CATSA, FAA, Labor Canada & WCB Regulations.
• Mathematical aptitude and ability to analyze trends in accidents and injuries.
• Proficient in use of personal computers and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensures training is performed consistently and conducive to learning.
• Performs internal safety audits at stations.
• Conducts incident investigations and establishes probable cause, contributing factors and corrective action.
• Develops recommendations for policies and procedures manuals.
• Ensures station compliance with established safety policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory health and safety agencies.
• Reviews station safety committee minutes and responds accordingly.
• Performs statistical reporting and trend analysis at station level.
• Performs ad hoc station training as needed.
• Performs Safety Risk Assessments with local stations.
• Maintains information on all claims (injury and liability).
• Represents AGI in industry and airline meetings and committees.
