JSX is seeking a Safety Intern to support the Safety team in promoting a proactive safety culture across the airline. You will participate in safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

This internship runs May 18 through August 7, 2027, offering hands-on exposure to aviation safety principles, OSHA requirements, and data analysis while collaborating with Crewmembers and operations to strengthen safety practices.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college, sophomore or junior year.
• Pursuing a degree in Aviation Safety, Aerospace Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Support safety inspections and audits, documenting observations and identifying hazards.
• Participate in safety risk assessments and evaluate potential hazards across environments.
• Assist with preparing materials for safety meetings, training sessions, and awareness initiatives.
• Assist with investigations of incidents, injuries, and near-miss events and help with reporting.
• Help maintain records related to injury management, claims reporting, and corrective actions.
