Job summary

StandardAero in Phoenix is seeking an EHS Intern to gain hands-on aviation safety experience. You will work with our Environmental Health & Safety teams to support safety programs and regulatory compliance during a 10–12 week internship (or longer) onsite at our facility.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, data collection, incident support, training delivery, and helping improve environmental processes while you learn from experienced professionals and build your career in safety

Qualifications

• Enrolled student attending a college or university during Spring 2027.
• Ability to work full-time or part-time during Spring of 2027.
• Must be local to the Phoenix area or able to relocate to area on their own.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need of current or future sponsorship.
• Able to work fully onsite at facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist EHS staff in safety inspections and job hazard analyses at active electrical construction sites.
• Assist in compiling data for annual reports to local, state, and federal regulatory agencies including the EPA, and OSHA.
• Help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements and company safety policies.
• Collect, track, and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
• Participate in the review and preparation of Job Safety Plans, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Safety Inspection Reports.
• Assist in the development and delivery of employee safety training and toolbox talks.
• Update environmental compliance records such as hazardous material handling and waste disposal documentation.
• Contribute to Continued Improvement projects and present findings to leadership.
• Update records in the Environmental Health & Safety database.
