Job summary

Frontier Airlines seeks an Occupational Safety & Environmental Compliance Sr Manager to lead daily administration of OSHA and environmental regulations across the airline. The role partners with divisions to ensure safety standards and regulatory adherence, working with federal/state agencies as needed.

The position requires substantial experience in safety programs, incident investigations, and cross-functional collaboration, with 20% travel expectation and a focus on continuous hazard

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of proven experience applying, interpreting, and ensuring compliance with Federal and State OSHA and Environmental regulations.
• Deep understanding of workplace and employee safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• 4+ years of experience in airline or aviation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages OSHA compliance programs and safety health administration initiatives.
• Liaises with Federal and State OSHA agencies and local health authorities.
• Manages injury prevention programs with operating divisions and HR to reduce injury trends.
• Provides SME coordination between OSHA, Environmental agencies, and operating divisions to address compliance breakdowns.
• Works with HR and operations to monitor employee injury metrics and issue analyses.
• Direct FAA noise and emission modeling for Ops Spec approvals for airports/aircraft changes.
• Oversees the Aircraft Safe Drinking Water Program with Maintenance and EPA liaison.
• Manages FAA Hazardous Materials Voluntary Disclosure Program.
• Ensures training content and schedules meet Federal/State/Local regulations and policies.
• Coordinates cross-divisional safety and health projects and updates Safety Manual sections.
