Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is seeking a Regional Manager of Training to manage development and oversight of compliance, procedural, and operational training across a specified region for airline passenger, cargo, and ground handling processes.

The role also oversees audits for safety, security and quality, and liaises with station managers, trainers and directors to improve processes and training effectiveness. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

• Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with field general managers and station trainers to ensure initial and recurrent training specific to job functions.
• Evaluate training compliance at stations to verify records are complete and current.
• Provide Train–The–Trainer certifications and assist with new procedures and regulatory bulletins.
• Assist with development, revisions and design of training courses and programs.
• Verify mandated training is completed by stations in the region.
• Conduct audits focusing on training, safety, security and quality policies.
• Prepare reports for Directors of Training and Quality Assurance and VP of Training and QA.
• Support daily/weekly inspections and assist in special projects as needed.
