Job summary

Menzies Aviation at Tampa International Airport is seeking a ramp agent to load and secure cargo, operate equipment, and help move items between aircraft and facilities. You must lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.

Paid training and uniforms are provided. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED (or six months ramp experience), pass drug tests, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED or six months ramp agent experience.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Lift/move up to 70 lbs. of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft, terminals and air cargo facilities.
• Frequent bending, stretching, pushing/pulling, stacking and kneeling in small, confined locations.
• Operate motorized equipment and read/interpret loading instructions and routing tags.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
