Job summary

Menzies Aviation is hiring a ramp agent in Fresno, CA to unload and load luggage and cargo on and off aircraft and operate small vehicles. The role involves heavy lifting, bending and working in all weather, with adherence to TSA and security rules.

You will read loading manifests and routing tags, maintain safety, and perform general duties in the bag room and aircraft cabins. Must pass drug testing and have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required; ramp experience a plus.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test.
• Capable of safely lifting up to 70 lbs continuously.
• Must speak read and write English proficiently.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load luggage, freight and cargo on and off aircraft.
• Operate motorized equipment and small specialized vehicles.
• Read weight and balance loading instructions, labels, manifests and routing tags.
• Replace blankets and pillows with clean ones; manage cleaning supplies as needed.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment per health and security policies.
• Conduct basic security checks of aircraft interiors and exteriors.
