Swissport is seeking Ramp Agents in Anchorage to provide under-wing ground support, including baggage and cargo handling, marshalling, and servicing aircraft systems.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Marshal aircraft during arrival and departure.
• Unload passenger luggage and air cargo onto carts and dollies.
• Unload wheelchairs and strollers and deliver to designated locations.
• Provide special handling of luggage/cargo as directed by supervisor.
• Deliver passenger luggage to the claim area and to conveyors.
• Deliver air cargo to the correct recipient.
• Operate ground support equipment as needed.
• Load mail, live animals, wheelchairs, and strollers onto aircraft.
• Service aircraft water and lavatories.
• Inspect ramp areas for debris and remove when found.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervision.
• Comply with all security requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
